2012 has started with a bang as we continue on a large scale CCTV project and Data Centre build out for Ocado.  We have also moved into brand new offices and moved a whole county into Hampshire!  Our new office is located next to Farnborough North Station and is a beautiful contemporary building where we are planning an exciting sales area and CCTV remote monitoring station.

We have also achieved Panduit Business Partner SILVER status!

January - Impact installs Panduit Cat 6 UTP links within Interxion Data Centre located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

January - Impact wins 500w DC containment, cabling and rack build within Global Switch Amsterdam, Netherlands.

January - Project completed within a secure cargo warehouse in Heathrow including Panduit Zone Enclosures and CPI Chatsworth Rack and Runaway build

February - We have made our move into the Netherlands and have taken the keys to our new office based on Kruisweg in Hoofddorp.  This is an ideal location to service our European based customers and is located just 2 miles from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.

February - Impact team members Dan Steel, Justin Lock and Glen Jenkins have been undertaking training on the Paxton range of door access control solutions.

February - We are looking to hire a Project Manager based out of our UK office.

February - Impact completes dual data centre build in Tamworth for Ocado including Excel pre-terminated copper and fibre and CPI cabinets, runway and cold aisle.

 

March - Impact installs Full Panduit QuickNet 0M3 Fibre and Cat 6 Copper solution within Amsterdam based Data Centre Global Switch

March - Impact installs Panduit QuickNet OM3 Fibre and Cat 6 Copper solutions within Telecity Zurich and Stockholm.

March - Impact installs Commscope Gigaspeed XL within John Lewis head offices under new MACS contract works.

April - Impact carry out full 'rack, stack and patch' of 2 x data centres for WorldPay within their facilities in London.

April - Impact ship over £120k of patch leads to client sites within one month.

April - Impact wins £350k order to deliver security, cabling, water cooled cabinets and access control for Kelvin Hughes.

April - Impact works in partnership to supply full SYSTIMAX solution within Oracles new data centre in Reading.

May - Impact wins £250k Panduit QuickNet installation within Interxions Amsterdam based facility.

May - Impact wins £450k order with Emcore to deliver full SYSTIMAX solution within Global Software companies research facility in Cambridge.

May - Impact to take delivery of CPI cabinets, place into position, bay together, cut floor tiles, install 3 tier cable runway solution and cold aisle containment in partnership with Norland in Woking.

May - Impact work to reconfigure existing cabling within Harrogate office for WorldPay.

June - Impact Install SYSTIMAX Gigaspeed XL cabling solution within WorldPay Cambridge Office.

June - Impact carry out moves weekend changeover at WorldPay Harrogate office.

June - Impact install 48 way SYSTIMAX host looms in Bunnik, Cambridge, London, Cambridge, Gateshead and Harrogate for new system roll out for clients regional offices.

June - Philip Townrow (previously of CS Technology) joins IDS to undertake full project management and control of the exclusive Microsoft Research facility located in Cambridge.

June - Impact completes patching services for 40No: new rack locations for ISP located in Amsterdam.  Including supply, installation and labelling services and handover documentation.

June - Impact opens Sunderland UK office to service clients nationally on a 'local' basis creating a firm footprint across the UK.

July - Impact officially welcomes Jeff Clinton as Regional Manager for our new Sunderland office.

July - Impact wins £2.2m contract for the BASE build of a 10Mw Data Centre located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Full Panduit solution including racks, cable management, FiberRunner, QuickNet copper and OM4 Fibre.

July - Impact carry out cabling installation for Global video conferencing company in Luxemburg Data Centre.

July - Impact welcomes Chris Beale as Regional Manager Netherlands.  Chris will be relocating full time to work with our existing client base and to develop new opportunities in the Dutch region including overseeing our current commitments.

Aug - Impact Corporate Day at the Aviator hotel by Tag for the Farnborough International Airshow.  This was a great success with 40 customers and their associated partners.

Aug - Impact Netherlands install racks, frames and cable management within 2 x MDF Rooms located in Schiphol-Riijk

Aug - Impact strip out and cable three floors at the new WorldPay Black Lion House offices in London.

Aug - Impact Build new COLO within Global Switch Amsterdam.  All Panduit products (Fibre, Copper, Racks, FiberRunner, Management)

Aug - Impact undertake first temporary Cat 5e installation within the National Theatre in London.

Aug - Impact Netherlands start cabling 10Mw Data Centre within IX facility in Schiphol area of Amsterdam.

Aug - Impact purchase 2 x new FLUKE DTX Testers, Splicer and SM/MM Fibre Heads to add to our growing tooling register.

Sep - Impact Data Solutions to be in attendance at the Panduit GSIC located in Cannes, France.

Nov - Impact Data Solutions partners with the ITS Group based in Camberley for Security solutions.

Nov - Impact complete COLO 30 installation within the new Microsoft Data Centre in Amsterdam.

Nov - Impact undertake courts telephony project on a roll out of 330 sites to be completed by March 2013.

Nov - Impact works with WorldPay to delivery EUC roll out project for all WorldPay sites by February 2013.

Dec - Impact Data Solutions welcomes George Light as Business Development Manager based in our Farnborough office.

Dec - Impact Data Solutions Christmas party is on December 21st and everyone is looking forward to it!
